MISSION STATEMENT
Health Care International (HCI) works to bring quality, affordable health care services to the underprivileged poor in a bid to restore their hope and self-esteem as a way of improving on their quality of life.

STATUS
HCI was registered in the year 2000 as a community based, non-governmental Organization. It has a Head Office in Buea, Cameroon.
GOAL
To improve on the health status and socio-economic conditions of the underprivileged poor.
OBJECTIVES:
- Provide low cost / free medical care services to the poor,
- Initiate and execute Health Education programs,
- Promote activities that enhance the care delivery of public health programs,
- Promote educational / professional rehabilitation in those needing such especially victims of HIV/AIDS, teenage pregnancies and child abuse,
- Promote family planning and child health in the poor,
- Focus media awareness on issues regarding prevailing health hazards,
- Provide unbiased information on prevailing health issues to the medical professionals and students in the medical and paramedical professional schools
- Influence positively national legislation and policy on the initiation and execution of public health programs,
- Work in collaboration with schools and other agencies ( National and International) involved in health care delivery.
MEMBERSHIP:
Membership is open to all members of the public irrespective of profession, race, tribe or political opinion.
